Job Description
Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, is looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves validating UI and backend services, developing and maintaining automation scripts, and executing regression test suites to maintain product reliability.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
- Execute API testing for backend services.
- Identify, track, and validate defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
- Take ownership as a proactive individual contributor in delivering quality releases.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and employment guidelines in a dynamic work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in QA (Manual + Automation).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium / UI automation tools.
- Experience in API testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AccelQ automation platform.
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
