Job Description
Zippee is seeking QA Automation Engineers to join its technology team in Gurugram HQ. This is a foundational role where you will build QA processes and automation frameworks from scratch rather than maintaining existing systems.
You will work closely with engineering teams to understand systems end-to-end, identify testing gaps, and expand automation coverage across the platform.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy deep system understanding, building testing frameworks, and solving complex quality challenges in fast-paced startup environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build automation testing frameworks from scratch.
- Develop REST API automation using tools such as Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or Pytest.
- Write automation scripts using Python.
- Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
- Implement mobile automation testing using Appium or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Test event-driven or webhook-based systems and ensure system reliability.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.
- Strong API automation testing experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience in database testing and SQL validation.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated pipeline testing.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience working with logistics, D2C, or e-commerce platforms.
- Prior experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups.
