Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify bugs in software and hardware systems through rigorous testing
- Develop and execute test plans for Arista products and features
- Design network test topologies for functionality, performance, and scalability
- Validate product quality by identifying defects and verifying fixes
- Collaborate with developers in Agile environments for rapid iterations
- Contribute to test automation strategies alongside development teams
- Participate in design reviews and provide customer-focused feedback
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and networking experts

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of SONiC architecture:
- SAI, FRR (Quagga/Zebra), Redis, Docker, Minigraph
- Experience with Linux systems, virtualization, and Kubernetes
- Networking expertise in:
- Ethernet, VLANs, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, QoS, Multicast protocols
- Understanding of L2/L3 protocols, HA, and network management
- Experience with ASICs, FPGAs, or network processors (preferred)
- Familiarity with test automation & scripting
- Experience with IXIA / Spirent tools (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Certifications like CCIE / JNCIE / ACE are a plus
