Role Summary
As an SQA Engineer, you will focus on manual testing with exposure to automation, ensuring software quality through test execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create test cases from business requirements
- Execute tests and maintain test execution logs
- Report and track defects with detailed reproduction steps
- Participate in root cause analysis with developers
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards
- Respond to bug-related queries and validations
- Collaborate with application teams and clients
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Requirements
- 2+ years of testing experience
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts
Testing Knowledge
- Functional Testing
- System Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Performance Testing
- Smoke & Sanity Testing
- Security Testing
- Basic Test Automation knowledge (preferred)
