Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and ambitious QA Engineer who has recently graduated and is excited to kick-start their career in software testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in automated testing frameworks, scripting languages, and relevant tools. Moreover, they should demonstrate a keen willingness to learn and advance their expertise in the field of test automation. As a Test Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the software applications we deliver uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various scripting languages and automation tools.
• Analyze test results meticulously to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and accurate software releases.
• Work alongside lead automation professionals to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the continuous integration process.
• Identify and promptly report software defects and issues as they arise.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to ensure the testability and maintainability of the software.
• Continuously engage in research and learning to stay up-to-date with new test automation tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Possess knowledge of test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, and Git.
• Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong desire for personal and professional growth in the field of test automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Understanding of API testing and RESTful web services, which would be considered an added advantage.
