Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a SW Test Engineer at Amdocs, you will:

• Prioritize test execution, conducting hands-on validation and certification of software readiness.
• Accomplish test procedures manually or through automated tools.
• Supervise and report on test execution, ensuring outstanding quality.
• Capture and detail test execution outcomes, supporting ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
• Analyze reports and discrepancies to resolve root causes and evaluate script failures.
• Participate in internal design reviews of testing materials.

Qualification Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years as a QA engineer or test engineer.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Good knowledge in at least one programming language.
• Proficiency in test design and execution, including planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and scripts.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira and QC.
• Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Good knowledge/hands-on experience with databases and SQL.
• Proficiency in Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Basic understanding of Core Java concepts.
• Experience maintaining regression test suites.
• Understanding of UI testing principles.
