Job Description:

The Boeing Test and Evaluation team is seeking an Associate ATE Software Engineer in Bengaluru. The role involves complex problem-solving across the full cycle of test automation software development, including hardware-software integration and system testing. The candidate will work on various challenging projects, ensuring that all products meet Boeing’s rigorous quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automated test software from requirement analysis to deployment.
• Interface with various hardware systems for testing and troubleshooting.
• Produce detailed documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with global teams, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and execute project plans effectively.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in software development, especially with NI LabVIEW, Metcal.
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration.
• Knowledge of various measurement and test equipment.
• Familiarity with communication standards like RS422/RS232, TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse, global teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with automated test equipment and aerospace programs.
• Awareness of quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically more than 5 years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
