📝 Job Summary

The Test Engineer – Data QE will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across large-scale Hadoop ecosystems. The role involves validating ETL/ELT workflows, performing data profiling, and implementing automated data quality checks using Python and Spark technologies.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated data quality validation frameworks
• Perform data profiling & anomaly detection in Hadoop environments (HDFS, Hive, HBase)
• Validate source-to-target data mappings using SQL/HiveQL
• Test batch & streaming data pipelines built on Spark and Hadoop
• Conduct regression testing after schema or code changes
• Monitor production jobs and ensure SLA compliance
• Identify data defects and perform root cause analysis
• Document data quality rules and validation results
