DTCC is seeking a skilled Lead Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. If you’re passionate about ensuring the quality and performance of applications in the financial markets, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop, conduct, and evaluate testing processes to ensure applications and systems meet defined quality standards
• Collaborate with developers to remediate identified system defects
• Maintain and implement performance test scenarios based on non-functional requirements
• Automate performance test scenarios using current automated functional and performance test scripts
• Review performance test scenarios with development teams and business stakeholders
• Track defects to closure and report test results
• Provide mentorship to team members related to performance testing
• Work with development and architecture teams to improve test coverage and performance
• Align risk and control processes to mitigate risk effectively

Qualifications:

• Experience in performance engineering, analysis, testing, and tuning
• Expertise in load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
• Experience with performance analysis of distributed platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers, and VMware
• Extensive knowledge of computing platforms functionality and performance aspects
• Experience in scripting with Perl, Unix shell, Python, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins
• Familiarity with RESTful web services, JSON, XML, and relational databases
• Experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipeline implementations using Jenkins or similar tools
• Proficiency in MS Office and effective use of Excel statistical functions
• Experience working with Agile teams, preferably scrum
• Experience in the financial services industry is desirable

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with JMS/IBM-MQ messaging system
• Knowledge of production pattern analysis and workload modeling
