About the Role
The QA Trainee will assist the QA team in testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function as expected. The role involves executing test cases, identifying bugs, and supporting developers and QA engineers in improving product quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, and UI testing to ensure application quality.
- Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Verify that new features meet business and technical requirements.
- Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
- Participate in test planning and test case preparation.
- Help ensure applications deliver a smooth and reliable user experience.
Key Skills Required
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes.
- Knowledge of manual testing and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with test case creation and bug reporting.
- Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira is a plus.
- Understanding of web and mobile application functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify issues.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Basic knowledge or coursework related to software testing / QA.
- Internship or project experience in software testing is an added advantage.
- Freshers with a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance are encouraged to apply.
