Key Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans to validate product releases and new features.
  • Perform manual and automation testing for web applications.
  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs and glitches with initial root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Use developer tools, network logs, GCP server logs, and SQL analysis to investigate issues.
  • Report defects in Jira with detailed information for engineering teams.
  • Help reproduce externally reported issues and support debugging.
  • Execute extended and edge test cases to improve test coverage.
  • Work closely with developers to keep test plans aligned with product updates.
  • Contribute to the existing automation framework and maintain automated tests.
  • Monitor, triage, and fix failing automated tests as product changes occur.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing for web applications.
  • Experience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Chrome Developer Tools, and debugging tools.
  • Strong understanding of web application architecture and functionality.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and backend testing concepts.
  • Ability to design and execute structured test plans and test cases.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with frequent releases.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python or Java.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and permission models.
  • Experience with mobile application testing.
  • Exposure to cloud-based debugging tools and logs.

Qualifications

  • BE / BTech / BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
