📌 Job Summary

🔎 Role Overview

You will be trained in manual testing and basic automation practices while gaining hands-on experience in web, mobile, and API testing. The role focuses on building strong QA fundamentals and understanding SDLC/STLC processes.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

✅ Manual Testing

• Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Write and execute test cases, scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing.
• Log and track defects using JIRA / Bugzilla.
• Re-test defects and validate fixes.

✅ API & Backend Testing (Basic)

• Test APIs using Postman.
• Validate request/response, status codes, and payload structure.
• Assist in backend workflow testing.

✅ Web & Mobile Testing

• Test applications across different browsers and devices.
• Report UI/UX and usability issues.

✅ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain test cases, results, and defect reports.
• Assist in preparing test summary reports.

✅ Collaboration & Learning

• Work with developers and senior QA members.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Learn QA best practices, SDLC, and STLC processes.

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

💻 Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
• Understanding of manual testing fundamentals.
• Basic SQL knowledge (good to have).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.

🛠 Tools (Good to Have)

• JIRA or any defect tracking tool.
• Postman.
• Selenium (basic awareness sufficient for trainee role).
