Job Description:

As a Software QA Test Engineer at Larsen and Toubro, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and solutions through meticulous testing. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment, monitoring every phase of the software development process. Your passion for ensuring compliance with requirements, assessing risks, planning, executing tests, and analyzing results will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies, including manual and automated test execution.
• Interpret requirements for testability and ensure comprehensive coverage in test case design.
• Present test plans to leads and product owners for approval before execution.
• Collaborate closely with the scrum team to implement and maintain tests in an agile environment.
• Assess the impact of design changes to determine the optimal level of testing.
• Develop methods and conduct load and performance testing.
• Integrate testing with the continuous integration process.
• Possess a troubleshooting mindset to systematically identify failure mechanisms.
• Ensure thorough analysis and documentation of test results.
• Actively participate in team retrospectives to suggest and implement improvements to test strategy and planning.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ensure all testing deliverables meet high-quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with bug management tools like JIRA.
• Conduct in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices, learn new test and automation techniques, and support team members.
• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
