NielsenIQ (NIQ), a global leader in consumer intelligence, is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team remotely in Mumbai. If you’re a motivated individual with a proven track record in testing, we want to hear from you.

Qualification Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst (3+ years required)
• Proven knowledge of different phases of testing in all IT environments (required)
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodology (required)
• Up-to-date knowledge of test tools such as JIRA for defect classification, management, and reporting (required)
• Flexibility and readiness to take ownership of defects through resolution (required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
• Initiative and pro-active approach to identifying risks and issues (required)
• ISEB/ISTQB qualification or equivalent (good to have)
• Experience in other roles in the Software Delivery Life Cycle (good to have)
• Willingness to travel internationally if required (good to have)
• Proven ability to test API functions (good to have)

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing testing requirements and creating relevant test strategies, plans, and scripts.
• Conducting testing for new and improved functionality for internal and external-facing Company software and applications.
• Creating and documenting test plans, scenarios, and scripts for validation by Developers and Analysts.
• Creating automation scripts for use in Regression testing.
• Executing testing scripts in all IT environments and tracking and reporting progress in line with the Defect Management Cycle.
• Identifying new and existing defects/bugs and measuring these in line with agreed metrics.
• Reporting findings and results to relevant Analysts and Developers for remedial work.
• Supporting peers and team members and actively participating in Scrum team activities.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to test API functions.
• Experience in other roles in the Software Delivery Life Cycle
• ISEB/ISTQB qualification or equivalent
• Willingness to travel internationally if required.
