Qualification Requirements:
- 2-3 years of proficiency in QA processes & methodologies, test automation framework, different verification/validation techniques, and test management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Unix, SQL, and Unit testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with UI testing.
- Extensive experience in testing Enterprise applications.
- Excellent analytical skills to segregate real application issues Vs. data/configuration issues.
- Java code reading/understanding skills.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Shell Script).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Linux/Unix command-line tools.
- Experience testing multitier applications.
- Amdocs Ordering product knowledge is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Accomplish test procedures and/or scripts manually or by automated tools.
- Supervise and report on test execution in a timely manner with attention to achieving outstanding quality.
- Capture and detail the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
- Analyze reports and discrepancies to resolve root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level.
- Compare and analyze system behavior vs. encouraged results/important metrics based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify issues, propose system improvements, and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
- Participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.
