Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering practices, including coding, testing, debugging, and analytical skills.
• 2+ years of experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• 2+ years of experience planning, scheduling, and delivering quality software.

Company Overview:
Microsoft’s Azure Storage team is responsible for building and maintaining Microsoft Azure Storage—a massively scalable, highly distributed, ubiquitously accessible storage system. The team works on designing and building systems for Zettabyte scale to support exponential data growth.

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the identification of dependencies and development of test design documents and test infrastructure.
• Designing and developing test automation tools and writing automated tests.
• Championing product quality, identifying product defects, and participating in cross-functional troubleshooting sessions.
• Maintaining automated regression suites, running tests, and triaging failures.
• Researching new tools, technologies, and methods for optimal solutions.
• Acting as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), monitoring systems/products/services, and managing downtime or disruptions.
• Proactively adapting to new trends and technical solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR a Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in specifying standards, methods, or procedures for product quality and release readiness.
• Experience in building quality products and services, preferably in distributed systems.
