Job Overview
Pulse Labs is hiring its first dedicated Quality Analyst, making this a high-impact role where you will define QA processes from scratch. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure product quality, validate releases, and improve overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning
- Create detailed test cases from acceptance criteria
- Cover edge cases, boundary conditions, and regression scenarios
- Identify gaps in requirements and communicate with Product teams
- Maintain structured test case libraries
Testing & Release Gating
- Perform manual testing across features before release
- Own release quality and block incomplete releases if needed
- Conduct regression, functional, and integration testing
- Log and track defects with clear documentation
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design for validation
Process Development
- Build QA processes, release checklists, and bug triage systems
- Identify areas for automation improvements
- Define and track quality metrics
Required Skills
- 3+ years of QA / Quality Analyst experience
- Strong test case design and test planning skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Experience with manual and regression testing
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of logs, APIs, and system behavior
- Experience with tools like Jira or similar
Good to Have
- Experience as first QA hire / building QA processes
- Exposure to AI/ML or UX research platforms
- Knowledge of test automation concepts
- Background in data platforms or UX tools
