Job Summary:

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer I will be an integral part of the RealPage Delivery Function team, tasked with building and standardizing a next-generation enterprise platform for customer data collection. This role will significantly impact accelerating the product development roadmap, improving software quality, and ensuring high reliability across diverse RealPage applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to enhance testing efficiency, expand coverage, and improve product reliability.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Employ C# and TypeScript best practices for unit testing and contribute to industry-standard testing methodologies.
• Document test outcomes to aid in debugging and software modifications.
• Manage tools and environments for the testing team.
• Engage in continuous communication regarding test status, highlighting potential risks and defects.
• Facilitate test plan and case reviews with cross-functional team members.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to comprehend issues, requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Continuously update personal knowledge and skills in quality assurance practices and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in test execution within the .NET and Angular frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts using xUnit, Moq, Jasmine, and Karma.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Effective documentation skills including the ability to write detailed test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.
• Solid understanding of tools for logging bugs and managing test cases.
