Job Summary:

Software Quality Engineers at RealPage play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by working closely with developers to enhance product quality. This involves participating in testing activities, from evaluating requirements and developing test cases to executing both manual and automated tests and managing defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to improve testing efficiency, expand coverage, and enhance product reliability.
• Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts while adhering to best practices.
• Execute automated test suites and report on their status, including any potential risks or issues.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in software debugging and modifications.
• Understand customer and hardware/software requirements for both functional and non-functional testing.
• Produce clean, efficient test scripts under moderate supervision.
• Create and execute test cases of low complexity and manage the defect tracking process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 1+ years of experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in mobile automation tools and platforms such as iOS, Android, and macOS.
• Experience with industry-standard tools like JIRA, Zephyr, and HPQ for logging bugs and managing test cases.
• Coding experience in languages like Ruby, Java, and C#.
• Familiarity with API test automation, Agile development practices, and object-oriented and JavaScript programming.
• Experience with Selenium/Webdriver and other testing tools like Junit, TestNG, and Nunit.
• Understanding of build automation and management tools such as Ant, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with mobile testing and mobile test automation tools like Appium.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with front-end web application tools (Angular JS, NodeJs, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance automation tools like Jmeter and DynaTrace.
