Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute test cases to validate functional and performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed test procedures for client-server applications based on business requirements and documentation standards.
- Conduct various testing types including regression, functional, performance, load, stress, and integration testing.
- Create comprehensive manual test cases and execute system testing within QA environments.
- Validate defect fixes and functional enhancements using documented test procedures.
- Perform black box and white box testing for system validation.
- Understand and navigate database structures and tables for testing activities.
- Translate UI and business requirements into effective test scenarios.
- Create basic SQL queries involving multiple tables within the database structure.
- Participate in requirement review sessions with business analysts, developers, and technical architects.
- Use defect tracking tools to analyze, report, and monitor application defects and change requests.
Required Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies
- Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing
- Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts
- Understanding of database structures and SQL queries
- Ability to analyze UI and business requirements for testing
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
