Job Overview
Standard Chartered is looking for a QA & Test Engineering Associate to work on banking applications within WRB Tech. This role focuses on API automation, UI automation, and end-to-end testing, ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform API testing & automation (REST & SOAP)
- Conduct UI automation using Selenium
- Work with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Identify, log, and track defects
- Perform database validation using SQL
- Test API security (authentication, authorization, data protection)
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams
- Provide daily status reports and defect metrics
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release management
Required Skills
- Strong experience in API Testing & Automation
- Tools: Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI
- Programming: Java
- Automation: Selenium, Cucumber (BDD)
- DevOps: Azure DevOps
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs & Swagger
- SQL for database validation
- Knowledge of banking domain applications
- Strong communication & project coordination skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB certification (preferred)
