💼 Role Description
As a QA Engineer, you will report to the QA Team Lead and collaborate closely with Developers, Project Managers, and UX Designers. Your focus will be on ensuring software quality through automated web and mobile testing using Cypress and Appium, validating end-to-end functionality, and maintaining high performance standards.
🔎 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate system test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute test plans and manage test environments.
- Perform database validation and execute test scripts.
- Conduct API testing (manual and automated) across web and backend services.
- Troubleshoot technical and business issues with strong analytical skills.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
- Implement effective automation solutions using modern frameworks.
🎯 Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years QA experience (or 6+ years equivalent experience).
- 3+ years programming in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- 2+ years web automation experience using Cypress with POM framework.
- API testing experience using REST / RestAssured & Microservices.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Postman, Eclipse IDE.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce domain.
- 2+ years mobile automation experience using Appium.
- Exposure to WebDriverIO + Mocha + Chai.
- Experience with Selenium and Cucumber.
