Job Summary:

As an Automation Test Specialist at Telstra, you will play a crucial role in driving key enhancements in digital functions to ensure alignment with Telstra’s T22 Strategy. Your responsibilities include leading innovative testing approaches for platforms serving both internal and external customers and advocating for analytics and robotics process automation for tool and platform maintenance.

Job Description:

The Automation Test Specialist will be responsible for automating testing for software platforms (frontend and backend) and developing automated deployment pipelines to support ongoing testing. The role involves adhering to best practice standards for CI/CD delivery, providing technical leadership, promoting analytics, and enabling proactive automated remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enhancements in digital functions to support Telstra’s T22 Strategy.
• Develop innovative testing approaches for platforms servicing internal and external customers.
• Advocate for analytics and robotics process automation for tool and platform maintenance.
• Automate testing for software platforms (frontend and backend).
• Build automated deployment pipelines to support ongoing testing.
• Ensure adherence to best practice standards for CI/CD delivery.
• Provide technical leadership in testing and automation.
• Enable proactive automated remediation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in automating testing for software platforms.
• Expertise in building automated deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD delivery best practices.
• Strong technical leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to deliver proactive automated remediation solutions.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with robotics process automation.
• Familiarity with Telstra’s T22 Strategy.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Jenkins, etc.).
