Job Description:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test at Wipro, you will be instrumental in preparing test cases and performing rigorous testing of our products/platforms/solutions. You will ensure that all deployments meet 100% quality assurance parameters before being implemented at the client’s end.

Responsibilities:

• Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
• Author test plans with thorough knowledge of business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.
• Implement Model-based testing as per Wipro’s testing standards for efficient test generation.
• Ensure rigorous peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and document test cases.
• Automate the test lifecycle process using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
• Design and execute the automation framework and ensure effective reporting.
• Develop and automate tests for software validation.
• Ensure compliance with project norms for defect reporting and test progress.
• Design and release test status dashboards to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.
• Expertise in various testing tools and automation frameworks.
• Strong technical knowledge in software testing and project management tools.

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of current and upcoming technologies (automation, tools, and systems).
• Expertise in process excellence with the ability to produce consistent results and effectively control risk.
• Proficiency in technical knowledge of testing tools, automation tools customization, and implementation at client sites.
