Join us in mitigating some of the most sophisticated security threats on the web and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Web Security. Working closely with development teams, you will build and maintain critical test frameworks for highly complex security products. You will be responsible for developing test strategies and testing tools, helping to secure and enhance the internet for millions of people worldwide.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting the full qualification cycle for software releases, including gathering specifications, developing test plans, running and analyzing automated and manual tests.
• Contributing to the development of test automation frameworks for both API and UI-driven tests.
• Designing, developing, and deploying automated system tests that replicate real-world scenarios.
• Regularly reviewing and improving test coverage.
• Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of security features on Akamai Edge.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have 4-7 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Be knowledgeable in software testing.
• Have experience in scripting and automation.
• Have experience in developing automated UI test cases using Selenium or Protractor.
• Be passionate about working in a collaborative environment to solve complex problems.
