Responsibilities:

• Focus on Anthology’s Blackboard Learn platform, which provides well-designed web and mobile solutions for learners, instructors, and administrators. Blackboard Learn enables users to access online educational experiences anytime, anywhere, through various devices.
• Develop and demonstrate expertise in quality automation, including defining test strategies and recommending frameworks for effective automation of product functionalities.
• Collaborate as an active member of an agile development team, participating in daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint demos.
• Embrace test-driven development as an integral part of software development.
• Be responsive to the challenges of delivering and maintaining cloud-based software, including troubleshooting live production environments, minimizing downtime, and addressing client-reported issues.
• Build capabilities to analyze and resolve issues across the complete technology stack, while also developing new features.

Candidate Requirements:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of software testing methodology.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Experience in executing quality testing strategies and automation strategies for software teams.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and building automation test suites.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Stash/GitHub.
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of manual and automation testing concepts.
• Ability to prepare test cases.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Appium, and Selenium.
• Understanding of RESTful web services.
• Experience with agile project methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence and ADO.
