As an Automation Test Engineer in the Ultrasound R&D organization at Philips, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and understanding the Software/Functional Requirements Specification
• Designing the Test Strategy & Test cases for the components and ensuring that the tests are of the highest coverage.
• Developing automated test suites using C# .NET
• Defining, establishing, and maintaining test environments
• Providing technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area and participating in all key technical decisions
• Participating in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensuring the quality of deliverables
• Supporting in project estimation, planning, and risk management activities
• Managing technical communication with stakeholders
• Having an Agile mindset, being self-empowered, and working towards continual improvement

To succeed in this role, you’ll need.

• You must have a background in automation frameworks and programming in C#.net for 5-8 years.
• Furthermore, familiarity with Agile Engineering Practices (such as TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration) and an emphasis on detail, quality consciousness, and multitasking are critical.
• Being a team player is also a requirement.
