What You’ll Do

1. Your primary responsibility will be to test products that use innovative technologies.
2. You will create and execute automated tests on physical, virtualized, and cloud environments.
3. You enjoy taking ownership of automation solutions and tools and want to contribute to the technology decisions of the organization.
4. You will have the opportunity to develop test frameworks that ensure quality is built into the software from the first line of code to the last.

6. You will work in small Agile software development teams that focus on security analytics and network monitoring tools for on-prem, cloud, or hybrid solutions.
7. You can create test scenarios based on user stories and have a deep understanding of networking and distributed systems.
8. You work well with diverse team-members to find new and innovative solutions to problems.
9. You are able to develop and execute Test Cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Who We’re Looking For

• We need someone who can partner with team members to create test scenarios based on user stories, while also possessing a deep understanding of networking and distributed systems.
• You should be able to work with leadership and other test team members to establish and enforce quality standards.
• Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you should have experience developing and executing test cases and finding innovative solutions to problems.
• Furthermore, you should have the ability to derive quality metrics from the development environment.
• If you’re a team player who enjoys problem-solving and has a passion for quality, we want you on our team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possesses over 5 years of software testing experience.
• Demonstrates ability to write automated tests in a distributed environment.
• Experienced in using Open-Source Performance/Load Testing Tools such as Gatling, Grinder, JMeter
• Has over 5 years of experience working in test environments that require networking and TCP/IP skills.
• Demonstrates proven knowledge of Linux OS
• Has over 3 years of experience writing test automation frameworks using Cucumber, Gherkin, Turnip, JUnit, and other relevant tools.

For non-sales positions, the salary range only includes the base salary, but annual bonuses may also be awarded to employees. For sales positions, the salary range includes a base salary and an incentive compensation target. The final pay for an individual will depend on various factors, including their location, skills, experience, and education. Employees in the U.S. can benefit from medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions from Cisco, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and various wellbeing programs. They are entitled to 12 paid holidays per year, including one floating holiday and a day off for their birthday. For sales positions, incentive pay is based on performance and added to the base salary. The incentive pay consists of quota-based and non-quota-based components. Cisco pays a standard rate of 1% of the incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100% for quota-based incentive pay. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate without a cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of the target. There is no minimum threshold for sales incentive compensation in Cisco sales plans.
