The Opportunity

As a Test Engineer at Worldline, you will have the opportunity to ensure the quality of new application functionalities by executing exhaustive tests, following the project’s defined test strategy, and utilizing custom-made test tools. In addition, you will be responsible for executing regression tests to ensure the quality of existing functionalities and reporting any deviations in expected results to the development team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Read, analyze, and review project documents.
2. Design and write test-scripts based on the received documents.
3. Execute the test-scripts.
4. Create and document issues/defects.
5. Undertake close follow-up of the correction of defects.
6. Collaborate closely with development (SCRUM) teams.
7. Support external customers/schemes during their acceptance test phases.
8. Be involved in the maintenance phase for bugs discovered in production systems (reproduce, test corrections…).
9. Support the implementation of test automation where possible.

Who Are We Looking For:

2. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar education with a focus on IT.
3. Basic UNIX and SQL-Database knowledge.
4. Good oral and written skills in English.
5. The relentless will to learn new things and continuously improve.
6. The natural will to take ownership.
7. Good communicator.
8. Capable of working under time pressure.
9. Well-skilled and highly motivated people.
10. Experience with defect management tools like JIRA XRAY or HP ALM is an advantage.
11. Know-how of “Cashless payment” methods is an advantage.
