Job Description:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide valuable feedback in a timely manner
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly
• Perform comprehensive regression testing upon bug resolution
• Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements
• Monitor and analyze debugging process results
• Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users on implementing solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in testing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the financial domain
• Preferably hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium, including web services (SOAP and REST) testing, automation, source code control, and integration with test case management tools
• Strong understanding of testing concepts and test data preparation
• At least 2 years of manual testing experience in web application and web services testing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge of ALM tools like JIRA and Zephyr
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
