The Boeing Company is currently seeking a versatile and high-performing Associate Software Application Tester to join our Product Systems team. This team is responsible for developing software applications and mobile apps for both internal and external customers.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to effectively interact with peers and customers. The job requires collaboration within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to achieve desired results. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Reviewing requirements specifications to define test conditions, building test cases, and executing complex test scripts.
• Conducting basic research on processes, applications, systems, and data to support the identification of functional requirements for application or system design.
• Assisting in the development and execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications.
• Reporting and documenting technical issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Providing test coverage reports and automating test cases.
• Ensuring high-quality deliverables for stakeholder testing during the UAT phase.
• Creating a test evaluation summary report (test metrics) for the release.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Relevant work experience in manual and automation testing.
• Basic experience with bug and test case tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Automation Testing tools like Selenium or QTP (Quick Test Professional).

Typical Education and Experience:

• Typically, 2-4 years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g., bachelor’s, master’s) are preferred but not required.
