Role Impact:

As an SDET, you will contribute to the quality assurance of software products through the design, development, and execution of automated tests. The SDET family encompasses automation development, functional testing, and test architecture. You will also focus on regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, and more. Working closely with developers, you’ll develop and evaluate testing processes, ensuring system defects are addressed. Additionally, you’ll create reusable test automation frameworks for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated tests to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with software development teams to understand requirements and design appropriate tests
• Write and maintain automated test scripts and test plans
• Identify and resolve defects, and improve the software testing process
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
• Debug and diagnose software defects, working with development teams to resolve them
• Stay updated with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies

Required Talents:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in automated testing and test-driven development
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
• Knowledge of Databases and SQL (preferred)
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and techniques (unit testing, integration testing, functional testing)
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery processes and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships
