In the role of a QA Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing exploratory and automated tests (both functional and technical) to ensure the quality of our products. You will be tasked with creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Additionally, you will debug issues, define corrective actions, review system requirements, and track quality assurance metrics.

Mission at Aircall:

  • Review specifications documentation, provide QA feedback, and identify QA requirements.
  • Design and draft detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests.
  • Estimate and coordinate quality testing activities with the feature team.
  • Perform manual tests for new features.
  • Execute and track automated tests.
  • Conduct in-depth non-regression and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Report and communicate bugs to the feature team.
  • Report and communicate automation results to the feature team.
  • Monitor and communicate testing results.
  • Follow and apply QA processes.
  • Promote QA best practices within feature teams.
  • Attend and participate in feature team rituals.
  • Proactively communicate across teams.
  • Anticipate and coordinate interactions and dependencies with QA peers and other teams.
  • Challenge risks and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Review technical design documents, provide QA feedback, and identify QA requirements.
  • Provide automation testing expertise and coaching.
  • Create test automation architecture.
  • Analyze QA metrics and provide feedback.
  • Manage large cross-team testing projects.
  • Monitor tooling technology upgrades.
  • Monitor and communicate quality assurance metrics.

About you:

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality products and amazing user experiences.
  • Responsible and capable of independently owning product testing.
  • Autonomous and highly organized.
  • Experience in functional and automation testing.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with support tickets.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of quality gates and their implementation.
  • Constantly striving for improvement and motivated by challenges.
  • 3-7 years of technical QA testing experience, including QA test automation and framework development.
  • Strong ability to automate functional and technical end-to-end tests.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute testing during the development phases and address issues.
  • AWS knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, resourcefulness, familiarity with testing tools/standards.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum teams.
