Responsibilities:

• Requirement Feasibility: Understand system-level requirements for verification and validation against software and hardware, identifying gaps or risks and communicating them to stakeholders.
• Test Management: Develop test scope, plan, and strategy, ensuring comprehensive testing of all aspects of the product/system, including function, performance, regression, and service.
• Test Planning & Control: Ensure requirement and test coverage, peer review test cases, monitor and plan test design/execution activities, optimize resource allocation, and identify impact areas of new features/bugs.
• Defect Management: Detect and report bugs/issues, prepare defect reports, and ensure timely reporting of test progress.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintain end-to-end traceability matrix, update relevant dashboards, and provide timely test status reports to stakeholders.
• Process Excellence: Apply best practices and testing standards, validate product requirements, and share mitigation plans to reduce risk.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams like System Engineering, R&D, and global Support team to resolve issues and improve overall system.
• Critical & Analytical Thinking: Apply logical thinking, decision-making ability, and technical curiosity to analyze data and draw conclusions.
• Leveraging Technology: Utilize knowledge of testing tools and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech or Equivalent Degree (Computers/Electronics/Mechanical)
• Total 6 – 8 years of experience, with at least 6 years in a related field
• Knowledge of functional/non-functional testing, different testing techniques, regression, sanity, ad-hoc testing, SDLC, STLC, UI/UX, application development/testing, product lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in Agile Methodology, Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD
• Understanding of HW & SW interaction, embedded systems/software, SW-HW development lifecycle
• Basics in embedded system/software, SW-HW interaction, Mechatronics
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Good communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving ability, flexibility, interpersonal skills

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Bank Note Processing systems (C2/C5) and its core functionality
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TFS, Azure, ALM), programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Selenium), communication protocols
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills, team management, problem-solving skills, flexibility, interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with soldering, multimeter, and other hardware tools
