Role Overview
The QA Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies for Mobile, Web, and API applications. The role involves manual testing, defect management, requirement analysis, and ensuring product quality throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for Mobile, Web, and API applications.
- Execute manual test cases and log/track defects effectively.
- Generate defect analysis and project status reports.
- Understand end-user requirements and ensure issue resolution until closure.
- Participate in requirement analysis and test design activities.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in testing processes.
- Provide proactive quality feedback throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adapt to dynamic business environments and project needs.
Requirements & Skills
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing (Mobile & Web applications).
- Strong fundamentals in API Testing.
- Experience working in Agile-based projects.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Expertise in test design and development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
