💼 Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Skipta’s solutions and data.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, enhance processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Build and configure CMS content (posts, pages, games) to support testing
- Perform functional, regression, system integration, and UAT testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools
- Create detailed Jira tickets for bug tracking
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and configuration analysts
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update test documentation for transparency and knowledge sharing
- Continuously improve QA processes
🎓 Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or related field
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
- Experience with JIRA and defect tracking tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Availability to work until 12 PM EST to support project needs
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Experience with Drupal or similar CMS platforms
- Background or interest in automated testing
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end or UI testing
- Familiarity with backend/API testing and SQL for data validation
- Service-level testing experience
