Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with strong Java automation experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of scalable backend systems and distributed applications.
The role involves close collaboration with Development and DevOps teams to drive quality throughout the SDLC, especially in cloud-native and event-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java
- Develop automated test cases for APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Validate functionality, performance, and reliability across distributed systems
- Test applications deployed via Docker and Kubernetes
- Perform testing in AWS cloud environments
- Validate messaging workflows and data streams using Kafka
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation / Quality Engineering
- Strong Java automation experience
- Hands-on testing of REST APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience testing messaging systems like Kafka
- Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies
- Experience using Git or similar version control tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with Selenium, RestAssured, or similar frameworks
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools
