Job Overview
Milliman is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Trainee to join its technology team in Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to begin their career in software testing and quality assurance. The position provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to software testing methodologies, SDLC processes, and real-world QA practices in a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web and application-based software systems.
- Understand project requirements and create basic test cases.
- Execute test cases and report defects or issues clearly.
- Support functional testing and regression testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
- Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- Contribute to maintaining product quality and testing documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Fundamental programming knowledge in Java.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with manual testing tools or bug tracking systems.
- Basic understanding of databases or SQL.
- Exposure to testing concepts through academic projects or internships.
