About the Role
Barclays is looking for an IFC-UAT Test Analyst to support testing activities within the Financial Crime and Transaction Monitoring domain. In this role, you will execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate system functionality, and ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and impacted teams to ensure successful testing, defect resolution, and system validation.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute UAT test scripts based on business requirements.
- Maintain and update the UAT execution tracker with daily progress.
- Perform test execution by accessing systems and validating functionality.
- Collaborate with impacted teams to complete end-to-end testing activities.
- Document UAT observations during daily triage meetings.
- Perform defect re-testing and ensure issues are resolved to closure.
- Record test outcomes and present results to business stakeholders.
- Ensure test scripts and supporting documentation are approved and archived.
- Understand UAT scenarios from requirement documents.
- Prepare or request test data setup for test execution.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in UAT testing and test scripting.
- Experience with test execution and defect tracking.
- Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
- Knowledge of Banking systems and Financial Crime processes.
- Experience working in Transaction Monitoring and Screening environments.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as:
- Java
- Playwright
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or Financial Crime systems.
- Understanding of banking operations and compliance processes.
