Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute different testing types including:
  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Smoke Testing
  • Sanity Testing
  • UI/UX Testing
  • Migration Testing
  • Exploratory Testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure defects are properly verified and closed.
• Conduct testing across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Participate in release validation and production deployment support.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Ability to write clear test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as:
  • JIRA
  • TestRail
  • Zephyr
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Good to Have Skills

• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in automation testing tools such as:
  • Appium
  • Selenium
• Experience in web testing and web automation.
