Role and Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer specializing in package solutions, you will design and execute testing strategies for applications built on ERP packages. This role requires a combination of technical testing skills, business domain understanding, and package solution expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design optimized test scenarios and test cases for ERP-based applications.
- Identify test environment and test data requirements to support effective testing.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and report test results.
- Analyze test outcomes to identify process improvements and quality enhancements.
- Estimate testing efforts and plan testing activities efficiently.
- Provide regular test status updates to stakeholders and address defects promptly.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with ERP package solutions such as
- SAP
- Oracle E-Business Suite
- Oracle FLEXCUBE
- Finacle
- Guidewire
- IBM Smarter Commerce
- Strong understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Ability to understand business requirements and domain processes.
- Experience in test planning, test case creation, and execution.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to multiple ERP packages and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of advanced testing methodologies and techniques.
- Understanding of industry-specific business domains.
- Experience improving testing efficiency and quality assurance practices.
