Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand product requirements and identify opportunities for test automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Participate in performance test requirements reviews for critical efforts.
- Create and execute performance test strategy and test plan, interfacing with all levels of the application protocol stack.
- Set up the performance test process from scratch.
- Identify bottlenecks, conduct stress and load tests, and follow performance testing processes.
- Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze test results and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by identifying areas for optimization and automation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation and incorporate them into our testing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Total experience of 5+ years with proven experience (3+ years) as an Automation Tester using tools like UFT or similar roles in software testing.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Performance Testing with excellent expertise in LoadRunner/JMeter.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as UFT, LoadRunner/JMeter.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as VB script, Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation & Performance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Good to have experience in CI/CD, with hands-on experience in Jenkins.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in CI/CD with Jenkins.
