Job Summary :

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring a small development team for a specific task or project, while also being involved in hands-on development activities.

Responsibilities :

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring project goals are achieved with the required level of quality.
• Coach and engage the team, fostering motivation and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the software engineering manager to provide recommendations on estimates, resource allocation, risks, and breakthroughs.
• Delegate tasks effectively, supervise their progress, and handle mitigation and critical issues.
• Offer technical and functional mentorship for the design, maintenance, integration, and testing of complex software components, adhering to functional and technical design specifications.
• Follow software development methodologies and release processes.
• Analyze and report requirements, providing impact assessments for new features or bug fixes. Establish high-level design and technical standards.
• Represent and lead discussions related to products, applications, modules, and teams, building strong relationships with internal customers and partners.
• Implement quality processes, conduct technical root cause analysis, and outline corrective actions for identified problems. Ensure completion of all project tasks to the required level of quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, evaluate them, and collaborate with customers to develop technical enablement plans. Provide feedback and insights to relevant teams for continuous improvement.
• Create application modernization roadmaps and facilitate rapid application deployments for enterprise customers, leveraging technical knowledge and customer insights.
• Preferred: Development experience with data streaming services like Kafka and container services like Kubernetes or Docker.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Angular 2+.
• Proficiency in Dotnet/core.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL database.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript for designing responsive and progressive web applications.
• Minimum of 2 years of team handling experience.
• Familiarity with cloud application development solutions (e.g., PaaS, Serverless, API Management).
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker is an added advantage.
• Experience with microservices-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and other design patterns.
• Familiarity with tools used in the development lifecycle, such as build, unit testing, GIT, and JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a strong-matrix organizational environment.
