MAN TRUCK & BUS is hiring for Software Test Engineer

Job Purpose/Role And responsibilities will include:

• Testing and executing control software functions and strategies based on system/test architecture.
• Conducting integration tests at the test level, including developing test methods and specifications, executing tests, and reporting any issues.
• Collaborating with an agile international team, ensuring alignment with global group companies and external partners for development areas.

Your Qualifications Must-Have:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in embedded systems, software testing, and integration testing.
• Educational qualification: ME/BE in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science.
• Understanding of the V Model Software Development & Validation process.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and interfaces.
• Proficiency in communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, XCP, and UDS.
• Hands-on experience in ECU testing, flashing, and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with ECU connectivity and connectivity protocols.
• Experience in developing test cases related to Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi, WLAN, GPS, GNSS, etc.
• Knowledge and working experience with ISO26262.
• ISTQB certification.
• Understanding of ASPICE.
• Expertise in VBA and advanced Excel.
• Experience in software architecture (Autosar/Non-Autosar).
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g., 3 months).

Good to Have:

• Hands-on experience in C#, C++, and Java programming languages.
• Test case creation using the Google Test framework.
• Familiarity with Cypress/Selenium.
• Good understanding of Unix operating systems.
• Proficiency in Vector tools: CANoe, CANAnalyzer.
• Knowledge of JIRA, SVN, GitLab, Jenkins.

• Must be fluent in English.
