Job Description :

Greetings! ESTECO SpA is currently seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our team. We are hiring QA Engineers for our Pune office in India. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products, which include web and desktop applications developed using Java SE/EE, JavaScript, and HTML frameworks. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities :

• Perform automation and functional testing of our Desktop application.
• Conduct automation and functional testing of our Web application.
• Contribute to the development of automation frameworks for both Web and Desktop products.
• Utilize DevOps technologies and frameworks, including automating the installation of our web-based product through Jenkins in a Continuous Integration pipeline.
• Collaborate with colleagues from our offices in India, Italy, Germany, and the USA.

Requirements :

To succeed in this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python (preferred) or Java.
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 3-5 years of experience in software test automation using Python (preferred) or Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges and propose solutions.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork skills, including communication and openness.

Desirable Skills:

While not mandatory, the following skills will make you stand out:

• Familiarity with Agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience in DevOps implementation, including automating the installation process of web applications, working with Jenkins, and different databases.
• Hands-on experience with Linux platforms.
