Work closely with consulting teams on a diverse range of advanced topics as a part of BCG’s X team.
Leverage software development methodologies to provide subject matter expertise and accelerated execution support to BCG’s Consulting & X (case) teams, X Product teams and Practice Areas (domain).
Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, deliver and support software solutions serving client needs.
Provide technical support by building high quality and efficient technology solutions and understanding relevant software solutions and processes.
Work on assignments ranging from short term Proof of concepts/Minimum viable product to long term cases with enterprise grade software development as a critical enabler through the project level description of the role responsibilities and impact within the organization.

Understanding and implementing best-fit approaches to testing to ensure that applications and new features work as expected.
Maintaining a knowledge base of manual and automated testing.
Developing testing best practices, and an emphasis on security best practices.
Writing effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Executing System and Regression Testing, and being aware of performance testing tools in an Agile environment.
Establishing credibility by thought partnering with highly demanding stakeholders/consulting teams on web development and delivery topics.
Assuring proper sign-off before uploading materials into internal repository for reference and sanitizing confidential client content in marketing documents.
Having strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think of creative ways to assure defect leaking to production.
Working independently on quality/testing tasks with minimal supervision.

Must have strong experience with automated testing tools (Selenium or an off-the-shelf tool) and exploratory testing.
Workable knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps tools, Postman or Other API testing tools.
Familiarity with automation testing tools like Cyprus, PYTest, performance testing tools like JMeter or Akami, and comfortable writing Python, JavaScript or other scripting language.
Building high-performance web applications using – NodeJS, Python + Flask, Django, React, Angular 2+, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Leveraging SQL-Postgres for best performance and having knowledge of OOPs concepts, design patterns, responsive UI and Unit testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, Jasmine.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science engineering/technology or equivalent.
At least 2 – 4 years of end-to-end web-application/tool development experience in a commercial setup specifically services or consulting organization.
Additional weightage for contributions made to open source projects, blogs, forums etc. in relevant technologies.
Excellent communication skills.
