If you have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in QA processes, this could be your next career move.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from a higher education institution.
• Minimum of 2+ years cumulative experience with QA processes, procedures, and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a working knowledge of Jaspersoft products to design and implement automated test coverage and resources.
• Write detailed test plans based on product/customer requirements.
• Execute test plans, document results, and file bugs into a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to gather test cases.
• Perform regression tests and black-box testing against Jaspersoft product releases.
• Conduct verification, including functional, structural, and regression testing.
• Investigate, isolate, and document encountered problems during testing.

Qualifications:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot software problems.
• Understanding of SDLC, software testing methodologies, tools, and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand product-related documentation.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows OS, including basic Linux shell experience.
• Basic knowledge in web technologies: HTML/CSS/JS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with Application Servers or Web Servers.
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture.
• Experience testing RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with non-functional testing methodologies.
• Experience working according to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge in one or more software development languages like Java, JavaScript, Python.
