CodeLab USA seeks multiple QA Engineers proficient in automation and manual testing using Java, Apache Hadoop, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. No prior work experience necessary; demonstrate proficiency through coursework or projects.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.
• No prior work experience required, but must demonstrate knowledge through coursework or projects in Java, Apache Hadoop, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Write automation scripts and manual test cases using Java, Apache Hadoop, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Validate fields in pages using FAT (Functional Automation Testing) frameworks.
• Update logs and test results using JIRA.
• Execute scripts on Tablet and Xbox devices using WinAPP driver and Java.
• Test web applications using IntelliJ tool on desktop and lattice on Tablet.
• Develop unique locator strategies using Visual UI verify.
• Monitor traffic using Postman and Fiddler tools to find logs for failed APIs.
• Use GIT commands and SourceTree for code committing and pulling.
• Create defects using JIRA for issues identified in the development environment.
• Provide task status and defect report communication to the QA Team Leader.
• Participate in bug review meetings, status meetings, and walkthroughs.
• Interact with Business Analysts and Developers to resolve defects.
• Contribute to team meetings and discussions to improve testing quality and approach.
• Identify test cases for automation.
• Conduct data-driven testing and UI checkpoints using QTP.
• Test process, tools, and best practices.
• Utilize testing knowledge, technology, methodology, and resources across similar projects.
• Prepare Traceability Matrix to show test coverage requirements vs. test scripts.
• Perform Input Validations, User Interface Validations, Browser Compatibility testing, and Navigation testing.
• Conduct Smoke and Functional testing on every build of the application.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java, Apache Hadoop, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as FAT, JIRA, IntelliJ, WinAPP driver, Visual UI verify, Postman, Fiddler, GIT, SourceTree, and QTP.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with automation testing.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
