Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures of Quality Assurance.
2. Ensure day-to-day QA controls are in place and empower QA for the entire plant.
3. Establish, implement, and maintain process needs for Quality Management System.
4. Adopt document control procedures for approving, reviewing, and updating all changes to documents within the Quality Management System scope.
5. Issue Quality Management System related formats and maintain logs accordingly.
6. Follow up on deviations, change controls, incidents, material and product destructions, internal audits, re-packing activities, and corrective & preventive actions with respective departments.
7. Prepare risk assessment documents.
8. Review the performance of the Quality Management System at planned intervals.
9. Maintain documents as per current Good Manufacturing Practices.
10. Intervene and call meetings to resolve QMS and GMP related queries.
11. Provide documents for regulatory affairs and handle regulatory queries.
12. Coordinate with internal department personnel and external parties.
13. Prepare for audits, execute them, and ensure compliance.
14. Handle notification to management related to documents.
15. Investigate & review non-conforming events including customer complaints and internal non-conforming events, decide on CAPA, and follow through for implementation.
16. Prepare, review, and implement Master list of Standard Operating Procedures.
17. Review qualification and validation documents.
18. Review and implement Annual Training Plan of GMP/Technical/SOP training, coordinate with concerned departments for execution, and maintain training records.
19. Verify and implement Batch Numbering system.
20. Allocate Equipment identification numbers and review and follow up for updating equipment/instrument lists.
21. Update/review approved vendor lists, vendor qualification planning, and documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience in Parental plant operations preferred
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures
• Document control and management skills
• Experience with regulatory affairs
• Strong analytical skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with audits and compliance procedures
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations
• Project management skills
