Full Job Description

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Experience: 3-8 Years

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and drive performance, scalability, resiliency, and availability solutions and strategies using industry-standard tools and custom solutions.
2. Gather, analyze, and strengthen non-functional requirements in collaboration with customer stakeholders.
3. Define performance acceptance criteria and quality gates.
4. Design, customize, and update performance test scripts and scenarios using tools like JMeter, Loadrunner, Neoload, Gatling, etc.
5. Utilize APM solutions such as AppDynamics, NewRelic, DynaTrace to identify performance bottlenecks effectively.
6. Work with data analytics solutions like Splunk, Datadog to analyze performance data.
7. Understand cloud solutions and develop strategies across AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
8. Familiarize yourself with the application design philosophy and underlying solution architecture.
9. Execute customized performance test suites to identify critical performance bottlenecks.
10. Foster a culture of engineering collaboration by partnering with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot and resolve critical performance disruptions.
11. Promote collaboration and teamwork to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively.
12. Have knowledge of SDLC processes and models and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in an agile environment.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Competencies:

• Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Loadrunner, SilkPerformer, Neoload, etc.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools like AppDynamics, NewRelic, DynaTrace, etc.
• Proficiency in machine data analysis using tools like Splunk, Datadog, Devo, etc.
• Cloud experience with a practitioner-level certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like ALM, Jira, etc.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced agile organization with multiple vendors.
